Aja Das is a  yogic practitioner (Ngakpa), and teacher of Dzogchen Atiyoga, Mahayana Buddhism, Chod, and meditation. 
Aja Das is also the founder and teacher at Udyana Mandala Sangha, a group for spiritual seekers interested in learning and practicing Dzogchen and  Buddhism.

For over twenty five years followed a traditional form of spiritual training and study under the guidance of accomplished Dzogchen Atiyoga and Tibetan Buddhist Teachers, having a very long background in Mahayana Buddhism, Chod and Dzogchen in particular. With the teacher's advice did several closed solitary meditation retreats, having lived in retreat situation for several years. Aja Das also followed formal Buddhist Philosophical studies for a period of six years. 

Aja Das has been a student of some important Tibetan Dzogchen Masters, and also received guidance, transmission and initiations from many teachers within the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition in general. Aja Das studied and received teachings with several teachers, and all of them are very important. Having done a very detailed and extensive training, Aja Das developed a very direct and concrete experience of this essence of nature of mind teachings. (if you are interested in more details you can read this Common Questions about Aja Das).



Having been requested several times by some people to share the teachings of the nature of mind, the teachings of the Buddha and Dzogchen Atiyoga in particular, and after receiving positive indications from the main teachers and also some other signs, Aja Das gradually started to teach. The goal is to share and assist those that requested help on the spiritual path, towards the discovery of the nature of the mind, and to share the teachings of the Buddha and Dzogchen in the west to maintain their authentic essence.

Aja Das's activities to share the spiritual path are totally voluntary, free, and dedicated to those who have genuine motivation to discover the natural condition, the authentic nature of the mind and being.





Aja Das started Quinta Udyana, a meditation retreat hermitage in the mountains in Portugal. This is a way of life that balances the spiritual path with a simple and natural way of living. Spending a lot of time dedicated to meditation and retreat, spiritual practice and working to share this teachings.
